FLASHPOINTS: Dude, Don’t Be A Buzz-Kill!

Dude, don’t be a buzz-kill!

Have you ever left an event buzzing after meeting someone amazing? Yeah, me too. Surrounding ourselves with positive, encouraging people is key in keeping our own spirits up during difficult times, or once the honeymoon of a new endeavor is over. Maybe it’s because these people are reminders of better times, or they have inspiring and courageous stories to share, or they’re simply a distraction from your own problems. Or maybe, just maybe, they’re our cosmic reminder to pay it forward, to get out there and be the one who uplifts others. I dare you to stop pushing and shoving towards your own goals, but rather serve and uplift others in small and simple ways. You’ll feel great, and they’ll be inspired. Get others buzzing, then prepare for greatness!

FLASHPOINTS: Both Greatness and Mediocrity are Self-Imposed

Both greatness and mediocrity are self-imposed. Choose wisely.

In life and business, there’s only so long you can play the safe hand and blend into the ashen background of mediocrity. At some point you’ll need to step out on the ledge and leap into the unknown. Sounds scary, I know. What if you drove through that fear though? It could give your business and current circumstance a fighting chance at exciting and unchartered success, or it could help you break through a plateau in your industry, relationships, and life. If the results aren’t met with immediate success, I bet you’ll learn a whole lot about how to approach your next risk with more skill and confidence…so, no matter the outcome, you’ll achieve significant success after all. Go ahead, take the step! It’s a great view from up here.
